Monday 1 July, 2024 17:30 - 18:30 Sixth Form Parent and Student Information EveningThe Hundred of Hoo Academy - Main Hall 17:30 - 18:30 On Monday, 1st July, at 5:30pm we will welcome you to our Main Hall venue to be given a presentation about your Induction days as well as share the core messages about studying at Sixth Form as a family so that there is the information and support you need to understand what it is like to attend our Sixth Form and complete Level 3 studies. Tuesday 2 July, 2024 08:30 - 13:30 Sixth Form Induction Day 1The Hundred of Hoo Academy - 6th Form Block 08:30 - 13:30 On Tuesday, 2nd July, you will be able to arrive on the Academy site from 8:30 to our Common Room and then commence introductory academic sessions to your Level 3 studies from 9am-1:30pm each day. You will be able to access Academy buses if required, for arrival to, and departure from the Academy. You will be able to remain in the Key Stage 5 Library if waiting for an Academy bus. During the in-school induction days you will have access to our Sixth Form Canteen to purchase food or drinks during your break time, but the day will finish at 1:30pm meaning you are able to leave the site and have your lunch after the academic sessions; should you wish to purchase food you will need to bring electronic payment for use. You will be treated as a member of the Sixth Form on these days. Timetables have been constructed based on your application forms, and will be shared during the Parent Presentation on Monday, and then issued to students the first day of Induction. As part of the Induction experience, you will have the opportunity to discuss any option changes you may wish to make with a member of the Academy team as well as explore alternate curriculum choices during the 2 days. All final subject choices will depend on your GCSE results in August.
